What is Holistic Nutrition?

Nutrition is how our life is nurtured, mentally, physically, spiritually.
-Dr. Bernard Jensen

Clients of a holistic nutrition practice are asked to pay attention to not only the foods they eat and how they affect the body, but also to the quality of the food, how it is eaten, and in what combinations. One’s environment, lifestyle, and frame of mind are also factors to be considered.

In short, this approach to health deals with the whole person who is experiencing the non-optimum condition(s), instead of just focusing on the manifestations of nutrient deficiencies.

What is Iridology?

Iridology is “the study of the iris, particularly of its color, markings, changes, etc., as associated with disease. (Dorlands Illustrated Medical Dictionary)

Analysis of the iris (which is done quickly and painlessly) can reveal inherent strengths and weaknesses, relative amounts of toxic settlements, and inflammation of organs, glands, and tissues. In other words, it can indicate areas of the body that may be progressing towards disease.1

As a result of the combined information gathered, clients then have prepared for them a program that is tailored to their particular situation. This includes lifestyle changes, what foods to emphasize, what to avoid, and what supplements (vitamins, minerals, enzymes, herbs, etc.) may be beneficial

In addition to this specially designed program, all clients receive a manual which covers the lifestyle requirements necessary for optimum health – from proper food combining for maximum nutrient absorption to the basics of holism and nutrition.

What is Energy Psychology?

Energy Psychology is a group of psychospiritual and mind-body interventions that appear to help with a wide range of psychological, emotional, and physical concerns. Results are achieved by addressing the human vibrational matrix via the meridian end points

These therapies have been observed to work in otherwise unresponsive conditions of psychospiritual and mind-body distress. This approach, at the same time, promotes high level psychospiritual, mindy-body health, and peak mental, physical, and creative performance.

Areas that have been successfully addressed include phobias, traumas, anxiety, weight control, eating disorders, allergies, compulsions, addictions, and limiting beliefs.

1It is not within the scope of Iridology to diagnose or name the disease.
